In summer of 2006, South China was severely hit by heavy rainfall and flood. Lives and living conditions of local farmers and children were threatened and medical facilities damaged. To support relief efforts in the affected area, CCIC contributed RMB200,000 to the Red Cross Angel Program of Red Cross Foundation of China to build a village hospital in the area.
